We are seeking an experienced Learning Needs Specialist to conduct assessments for Specific Learning Difficulties (SLDs) in children aged 8 and above.
This role involves identifying learning needs, supporting educational planning, and making recommendations to help individuals reach their full potential.
* Conduct psychoeducational assessments for SLDs in children
* Interpret cognitive, academic, and behavioural data to inform diagnosis and intervention
* Prepare comprehensive reports with tailored recommendations
* Liaise with families, schools, and professionals to support implementation
Key Responsibilities:
* Cognitive Assessments: Conduct detailed assessments of cognitive functions, including memory, attention, and processing speed
* Academic Support: Provide guidance on strategies to improve academic performance and close learning gaps
* Behavioural Analysis: Analyze behaviour patterns and develop interventions to address challenges
* Report Writing: Prepare clear, concise reports summarizing findings and recommendations
Requirements:
* Qualifications: PhD or equivalent in Educational Psychology or a related field
* Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in assessing and supporting children with SLDs
* Skills: Strong assessment and reporting skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
