Industrial Engineer Position
This role is responsible for analyzing operations and processes to maximize productivity, developing capacity and headcount models for operations, and designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze operations and processes to identify areas of improvement and implement changes to maximize productivity
2. Develop and implement capacity and headcount models for operations to optimize resource allocation
3. Design and implement production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste
4. Implement control systems to minimize cost and production issues
5. Mapping of inventory flow and optimization of flow/pull within and between manufacturing cells
6. Design of manufacturing layouts for efficiency
7. Application of visual factory concepts
Qualifications:
* Honors degree in industrial engineering or related field required
* Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards; semiconductor manufacturing experience an advantage
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
* Documentation and organization skills
