We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a well regarded Law firm on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a Dublin based role is offering hybrid working 50% alongside a very competitive salary and benefits package.
This position is ideal for a hands-on infrastructure professional with strong experience across on-prem, virtualised, and cloud environments, who enjoys working in complex, enterprise-scale settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Support, maintain, and enhance enterprise infrastructure platforms across on-prem and cloud environments
* Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and cloud-related issues
* Manage and support virtualised environments using VMware
* Administer and support Microsoft server technologies and services
* Contribute to infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
* Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
* Ensure systems comply with data privacy regulations and industry standards
* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure service stability and performance
Required Experience & Skills
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an IT Infrastructure role
* Extensive hands-on experience with VMware, HPE ProLiant servers, and NetApp storage arrays
* Strong Microsoft infrastructure expertise, including:
* PowerShell
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
* Desired State Configuration (DSC)
* Hyper-V
* Group Policy Management
* SCCM
* Experience with backup technologies such as Rubrik
* Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and cloud services
* Experience with SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and DaaS platforms
* Proven experience in Disaster Recovery Management
* Good understanding of data privacy practices and regulations
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards and technology roadmaps
Certifications (Highly Desirable)
* HPE ASE or Master ASE
* MCSE and/or Azure certifications
