Your new role includes:
Supervising all facets of production facility performance to optimize efficiency and labour utilization.
Creating and managing all production-related data, including information on downtime, waste, process sheets, non-conformances, and on-hold logs, with appropriate handling as needed.
Consistently upholding compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards as dictated by the company, customers, and relevant legal requirements.
Leading daily production meetings, convening with area supervisors, maintenance personnel, quality assurance team, and material supply.
Overseeing attendance, punctuality, annual leave.
Conducting employee appraisals and probationary performance reviews as well as ongoing performance management.
Experience you need:
5+ years’ experience leading a team in a similar role, ideally in cold room environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Lead team-based problem solving
Enthusiastic, energetic, optimistic, can-do attitude
Must be a leader who can encourage others to take ownership and responsibility.
