Financial Systems Accountant – Global Property Firm

The Opportunity:
We're looking for a Financial Systems Accountant — a recently qualified or early-career professional (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) who thrives at the intersection of finance and technology.
You'll play a central role in the modernisation of core financial systems, driving automation, process improvements, and data integrity across the group. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, streamlining workflows, and enabling smarter, faster financial reporting through technology.
Key Projects & Focus Areas:
* Finance Systems Optimisation
– Support the enhancement of the group's accounting and reporting systems, improving automation, integration, and user functionality.
* Process & Data Transformation
– Standardise financial data structures, workflows, and controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability.
* Automation & Reporting Tools
– Implement and maintain dashboards, analytics, and digital reporting solutions to strengthen business insights.
* System Integrations
– Assist in aligning and integrating financial systems following acquisitions or process changes.
* Controls & Governance
– Document financial processes and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
* Continuous Improvement
– Work with stakeholders across finance and IT to identify opportunities for efficiency and system enhancement.
Core Responsibilities:
* Act as a key point of contact for finance system improvements and support.
* Assist in automation projects to reduce manual processing and enhance accuracy.
* Ensure master data and reporting structures remain consistent across entities.
* Support month-end and group consolidation reporting through improved systems functionality.
* Collaborate with finance, IT, and data teams to strengthen system connectivity and control frameworks.
Skills & Experience:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), ideally 0–3 years PQE.
* Strong interest or experience in finance systems, process automation, or digital transformation.
* Solid understanding of financial statements, consolidation, and reporting cycles.
* Advanced Excel and strong data-handling capabilities; familiarity with BI tools advantageous.
* Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-changing environment.

Remuneration:
