Job Description:
As the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 5-star hotel in Galway to ensure exceptional customer service and compliance with statutory and health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure that all guest interactions are handled in a timely and professional manner
* Provide quality service to guests at all times by anticipating their needs and exceeding expectations
* Assist with front desk activities, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest queries, and payment processing
* Monitor and maintain accurate records of payments, staff inductions, and other relevant data
* Liaise with revenue and reservations managers to maximize sales opportunities
* Respond promptly to customer feedback and concerns to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience in front office management or a related field
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
* Appropriate 3rd-level qualification in hospitality, hospitality management, or a relevant discipline
* Experience managing operating systems and software applications, such as Hotsoft PMS
* Familiarity with MS Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
