You'll present findings through reports and also peer review reports from other members of the technical team, playing a vital part in the technical side of the business.Main DutiesDeliver and manage fire engineering projectsProvide fire risk assessments to a wide range of structures and risk groupsPresentation of findings, reports and workshopsComplete fee quotes, PQQ and ITT submissions for fire safety tendersWork individually and part of a team to win or deliver projectsWork directly with clients in an outward facing roleEnsure projects are suitably invoicedPromote and ensure technical excellenceAttend client meetings and provide fee proposals as requiredProvide technical guidance and provide advice for clients as appropriateProvide technical advice to employees and associates of the companySupport ISO readinessKey Skills And RequirementsMSc Fire Engineering degree or BEng/BSc degreeAIFireE/FRM AccreditationIEng/application in processTypically 2+ years' experience in a consultancy or similar environmentKnowledge and experience of UK fire safety legislation and standardsClear understanding of the total fire concept - from client brief through to construction and operationDevelopment and implementation of fire strategies, projects and research initiativesPossess excellent report writing and communication skillsAbility to multi-task - you will be required to work on multiple projects concurrently, juggling multiple demandsProven ability to work remotely, both individually and as part of a teamProven ability to develop a network of clients and colleagues at PartB and outside the companyUnderstand and manage the scope and relevant programme constraints of projectsExcellent time management skillsFlexible and adaptable during company growthAbout UsPartB is a specialist fire consultancy dedicated to fire safety design, fire risk management, forensic fire engineering and fire safety training.
