As a Metrology Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our medical devices. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing high-technology metrology equipment and processes to inspect intraocular lenses (IOLs). Your expertise will enable us to deliver top-quality products that meet the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optics, optical metrology, and optomechanics. You should possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities include:
* Designing and implementing metrology solutions to ensure product quality
* Providing engineering support to manufacturing teams
* Researching and developing new projects to improve metrology capabilities
* Collaborating with external research groups to explore opportunities for collaborative projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
* Minimum 2 years' experience in high-volume manufacturing with experience in project management and metrology solutions
* Preferred: prior experience in optics and optical metrology, knowledge of optomechanical systems and control systems, data analysis by statistical methods
