We are currently seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Residential Centre located In Sligo Town Center. This centre provides accommodation and support to families experiencing homelessness.Candidate Requirements:Minimum of Two years' management experience in a residential care or housing setting.Strong background in social care or a related sector.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities:Recruitment, supervision, and performance management of staff.Overseeing building operations, ensuring all compliance standards are met, and logging/resolving maintenance issues.Daily engagement with residents, providing support and assistance as required.Administrative responsibilities, including preparing reports and liaising with senior management.Ideal Candidate Profile:The successful candidate will be a proactive and hands-on manager with the ability to balance operational oversight with resident support.
