Quality Engineer II (Contract) – SAP S/4HANA
Overview
We are supporting a leading Medical Device manufacturer who is currently introducing SAP S/4HANA across their supply chain and quality operations. They are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer II (Contract) to support warehouse quality activities through this transition, with a strong focus on incoming receipts, material movements, and outbound shipments.
While SAP / ERP project exposure is desirable, it is not essential
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide hands-on quality support within the warehouse environment and contribute to system and process changes as SAP S/4HANA is implemented.
Warehouse Quality Support
* Provide quality support for incoming receipts, including material status checks, release processes, and disposition support
* Support outbound shipments, ensuring correct documentation, traceability, and readiness for dispatch
* Support resolution of warehouse-related quality issues, including nonconforming materials and process gaps
SAP S/4HANA Implementation Support
* Support the transition to new SAP S/4HANA workflows and warehouse processes
* Participate in system testing (UAT / process testing), ensuring quality and warehouse flows are effective and fit-for-purpose
* Collaborate with Super Users and key stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and support smooth rollout
* Support go-live readiness by highlighting process gaps and contributing to practical solutions
* Assist in training team members on new system functionality and updated processes in hypercare phase.
Process & Documentation
* Write and update procedures, SOPs, and work instructions to reflect system and process changes
* Support development of training materials and process guides as required
* Provide hands-on support to warehouse teams during and post-implementation to reinforce new ways of working
