Joining a team of five, the Accounts Administrator has excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and is a self-motivator. The Accounts Administrator has strong Excel skills and a professional manner for dealing with Commercial Customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor, process, and verify skip and bin data to ensure billing accuracy.
* Follow up with drivers to clarify billing queries.
* Ensure customers have correct invoice documentation.
* Deal with customers in a professional and helpful manner.
* Ensure all tasks are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
* Keep all filing up to date and accurate at all times.
* Generate customer reports, sales reports, and analysis as required.
* Prepare weekly/monthly transaction reconciliation reports.
* Assist in month-end closing processes.
* Identify and implement system/process improvements.
* Ensure smooth administration between various departments.
* Collaborate with management and the accounts team on various business projects.
* Identify and implement cost reduction activities/processes.
* Perform any other ad hoc administrative duties as they may arise.
Qualifications
* The successful candidate will hold a Business Degree and/or an equivalent Accounting qualification.
* Demonstrated ability to collate accurate information, analyze it, and report it in a manner useful for management decision-making.
* Attention to detail, a commercial and common-sense approach to problem-solving.
* Professional with strong interpersonal skills.
* The ability to prioritize tasks and work to tight deadlines.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads.
* Effective oral and written communication skills with management, staff, and customers.
* Excellent organization and administrative skills.
* Highly motivated.
* Proven analytical skills and reporting ability.
* Quick learner with proficiency in company IT systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
