Sea Church, one of Ireland's most unique coastal venues, is seeking a hands-on and confident Event Supervisor to support the smooth delivery of our diverse entertainment calendar — including live concerts, cinema nights, stand-up comedy shows, cultural events, private functions, and occasional weddings.This is a fully operational, on-the-floor role, working directly with our Event Manager on the day of each event. Your purpose is to ensure that everything runs seamlessly: the venue is set up correctly, timelines are respected, artists and suppliers are supported, and guests have an exceptional experience.Your ResponsibilitiesEvent delivery (concerts, comedy, cinema, private events, plus occasional weddings)Support our Event Manager in the smooth operation of all events taking place at Sea Church.Lead the floor during events, ensuring the venue is prepared, organised and ready according to schedule.Oversee room set-up, seating, signage, bar readiness and any event-specific requirements.Coordinate with the FOH and bar teams to maintain a consistent and high-quality guest experience.Keep the event running on time, managing key moments such as:doors openingartist arrivalsound checkshow startintervalsencorespost-show flowGuest & performer interactionAct as a welcoming and approachable point of contact for artists, performers, production teams and guests.Ensure artists/performers know their schedule, access points and backstage guidelines.Respond to guest needs and minor issues in a calm, professional manner, escalating when needed.Supplier & technical coordinationLiaise with external suppliers, musicians, comedians, filmmakers, production teams and photographers on the day of the event.Coordinate timing for sound checks, tech setup, stage requirements and any special requests.Ensure all suppliers follow venue protocols and event timelines.Operational follow-upSupport with closing duties after events, including basic checks and coordination with the team.Report any incidents, feedback or operational observations to our Event Manager and the General Manager.Important: This role does not include event sales, administration, paperwork, planning, or staffing duties.It is purely focused on operational oversight and floor leadership on event days.What We're Looking ForExperience in hospitality, live events, theatre, music venues or similar environments.Strong leadership on the floor, with the ability to keep teams aligned during busy shows.Excellent communication and quick problem-solving skills.Confidence when dealing with guests, performers and suppliers.Ability to stay calm in high-energy or time-sensitive environments.Own transport is essential due to the rural location and varying event hours.Flexibility to work evenings, nights and weekends based on the events schedule.What We OfferA vibrant working environment in a stunning coastal venue.The opportunity to work closely with concerts, comedy shows, cultural events and more.Staff discounts across the Flynn Cush Group.Supportive, creative and energetic team.Competitive salary depending on experience.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPay: €14.00 per hourExpected hours: 30 per weekBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
