Role: Payroll Administrator

The Opportunity
Our growing finance team currently has an opening for a Payroll Administrator at the OHM Group, located in Baldonnell, Dublin 22. This role involves managing payroll administration for approximately 450 employees across the group. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, well-organized, reliable, and possess an exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of confidentiality and discretion. The role reports directly to the Payroll Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-end processing of three payrolls (weekly and monthly) for around 450 employees.
2. Respond professionally and efficiently to employee queries and management requests for analyses.
3. Maintain effective controls and procedures to ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, Revenue, and Data Protection regulations.
4. Keep accurate and confidential payroll records for audit purposes.
5. Assist with Time and Attendance administration as required.
6. Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate payroll reconciliation each month.
7. Enhance payroll processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
8. Perform other ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:
* Full unrestricted work permit for Ireland (this role does not qualify for sponsorship).
* At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in a payroll administrator role handling a large number of employees.
* Strong knowledge of employment tax regulations and compliance.
* Excellent administrative, organizational, and numerical skills, with proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., SAGE MicroPay Pro) and MS Excel.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
* High attention to detail.
* Experience with Time and Attendance systems (e.g., Snow Technology – UKG Pro) is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Payroll-related qualifications are desirable.
