KITCHEN TEAM LEADER / CHEF DE PARTIE | €18.91 per hour plus tips
A range of quality own‑brand and high‑street restaurants and cafés—mixed with great food, family‑friendly menus and excellent service—makes up Center Parcs’ Food and Beverage department. Roughly 350 team members work across nine restaurants, cafés, bars and a production kitchen, plus five concessionary units such as Bella Italia and Café Rouge. This role is based at Center Parcs Longford Forest.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook and present food to company standards.
* Provide general supervision and coaching to junior staff, ensuring their personal development.
* Deputise for the Assistant Kitchen Manager in their absence, supervising unit chefs to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
* Assist with the management of the cost of sales for your unit through effective use of the company ordering system, stock and portion control and minimising food wastage.
Essential Requirements
* Ability to build relationships with colleagues.
* Previous kitchen experience in a similar position.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Naturally cheerful, patient and friendly.
* Professional, approachable and calm under pressure.
Desirable Requirements
* Experience of ordering and stock control.
Hours of Work
Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4‑week period on a flexible basis. Your days and hours may vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Because our village is open 365 days a year, your hours will include public/bank holidays and a rota basis on Christmas/New Year with a premium rate for hours worked on a Sunday.
