Your new role As Company Secretariat Manager, you will report to the Company Secretary and play a pivotal role in managing and developing the Secretariat function. You'll act as a key conduit between the Board and the business, ensuring governance excellence across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Manage Board and Committee meetings, papers, minutes, and actions. Ensure compliance with governance codes and legislation (Companies Act 2014, Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies). Liaise with Shareholding Departments, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Oversee statutory filings, corporate policy documents, and document control. Advise senior leadership on governance and company law matters. Coach and develop junior Secretariat team members. Coordinate Board member induction and training. Lead the Board evaluation process. A full and comprehensive Job Spec is available upon application/request. What you'll need to succeed Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior company secretarial or governance role. Relevant third-level qualification in law, governance, business, or related field. Strong understanding of Irish company law and public sector governance. Experience in a semi-state or regulated entity is an advantage. Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information. Proactive mindset with strong influencing and decision-making abilities. Chartered Secretary qualification (or working towards) is desirable. What you'll get in return Salary: €75,000-€90,000 depending on experience. Performance Award: Up to 14%.
