About The Role
We are looking for a Retention Lead to take ownership of our player engagement and retention strategies within our fast-growing iGaming project. This role requires an expert in lifecycle marketing who can design, implement, and optimize multi-channel retention campaigns to maximize player lifetime value (LTV) and reduce churn. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in CRM platforms, automation, and segmentation strategies, with experience working in Tier 1 regions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive retention strategies to improve player engagement, reduce churn, and increase LTV.
* Oversee CRM campaigns across multiple channels, including email, WhatsApp, Telegram, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
* Utilize Customer.io to build automated, personalized customer journeys.
* Define and analyze key retention KPIs (retention rates, ARPU, session frequency, churn) and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Optimize bonus and loyalty programs, ensuring they drive engagement while maintaining cost efficiency.
* Conduct A/B testing on retention campaigns to improve effectiveness and engagement rates.
* Collaborate with data analytics, marketing, and product teams to refine segmentation and personalization strategies.
* Stay ahead of industry trends and player behaviour insights to introduce innovative retention techniques.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in CRM, retention marketing, or lifecycle marketing within iGaming.
* Strong knowledge of Customer.io or similar CRM platforms (Optimove, Braze, Salesforce, etc.).
* Proven experience managing retention campaigns via email, WhatsApp, Telegram, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
* Expertise in customer segmentation, automation, and behavioral targeting.
* Solid understanding of bonus structures, loyalty programs, and player incentives.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams, including data, product, and marketing.
* Analytical mindset with proficiency in A/B testing, campaign tracking, and performance optimization.
* Must have experience working with Tier 1 regions.
* Background in data-driven CRM strategies with a focus on personalization and automation.
* Experience with gamification mechanics to enhance player engagement.
* Familiarity with compliance and responsible gaming regulations.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proactive and hands-on approach.
* Fluency in English is a must; Turkish or Russian/Ukrainian is a plus.
Location
Our in-house team operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants from any country are welcome to apply for the position as long as they are located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET. This ensures optimal collaboration and communication during working hours.
