About the Role:
The Research Services Unit at UCD Library is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Manager to join our team. This temporary post will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the new Research Data Management (RDM) policy introduced by UCD in 2020.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating and maintaining existing RDM services, including liaising with researchers, library units, and external users.
* Developing new services to support the growing requirement for research data management and sharing, driven by funding organisation mandates.
* Collaborating with colleagues across the Library, research areas, and external partners to achieve strategic goals and enhance staff development and engagement.

This role requires an individual with enthusiasm for the changing information landscape and experience in implementing new processes and services. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
