We require a seasoned tax professional to spearhead our tax controversy team.
* Leverage expertise in tax audits and investigations to drive results for clients.
* Provide strategic guidance on tax dispute resolution, advocating on behalf of clients with tax authorities.
* Develop and review submissions for tax rulings, appeals, and litigation, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.
* Collaborate with the tax advisory team to identify and mitigate tax risks, safeguarding client interests.
* Stay abreast of tax legislation and case law developments, applying knowledge to drive business growth.
* Foster strong relationships with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders, promoting trust and confidence.
* Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and internal training programs, sharing expertise with colleagues.
* Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering their development and success.
* Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
* A professional tax qualification (AITI/CTA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is essential.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax controversy, tax audit, or a related field is required.
* Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax law and practice is mandatory.
