Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our site safety initiatives in services and solutions businesses. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with current legal requirements and best practices, minimizing risks and promoting positive safety behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop strategic Health, Safety, and Sustainability plans to support Services and Solutions Operations.
* Collaborate with site management teams to improve working environments and employee wellbeing.
* Investigate and review accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending improvement actions.
* Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet necessary standards.
* Schedule training related to Environment, Health, and Safety.
* Coordinate customer audit requirements and facilitate HSE inspections.
* Monitor implementation of recommendations and suggest further improvements as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a construction or services organization where CDM is paramount.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including presenting to senior management levels.
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Intranet, with experience of SAP or other databases an advantage.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Corporate membership of IOSH.
* HNC in Electrical Engineering.
* Previous experience in delivering effective Health and Safety training courses.
