Job PurposeThe Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of goods within the warehouse, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch. The role is critical to maintaining health & safety standards, stock integrity, and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesForklift OperationsOperate forklifts (reach truck, counterbalance, or pallet truck as assigned) safely and responsiblyLoad and unload delivery vehicles in accordance with proceduresMove stock to designated racking locations accuratelyRetrieve pallets for picking, loading, or productionStack, store, and rotate stock according to FIFO / FEFO principlesHealth, Safety & ComplianceFollow all Health & Safety, BRC, HACCP, and company proceduresCarry out daily forklift safety checks and report defects immediatelyEnsure safe operation around pedestrians, racking, doors, and equipmentReport accidents, near-misses, or damage immediatelyMaintain clean, obstruction-free aisles and work areasStock & Warehouse ControlHandle goods carefully to prevent damageVerify pallet labels, quantities, and locationsAssist with stock counts and audits when requiredReport damaged goods, packaging issues, or discrepanciesMaintain accuracy when relocating or consolidating stockHousekeeping & TeamworkKeep forklift, battery area, and warehouse clean and tidySupport warehouse operatives during peak periodsFollow instructions from Warehouse Supervisor or ManagerWork cooperatively with Goods-In, Picking, and Transport teamsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €13.50-€17.00 per hourExpected hours: 39 per weekBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
