Job Title: M&E Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, tender documents, contracts, drawings, BoQ, specifications, budgets, and maintaining accurate records.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering, with excellent technical and practical knowledge of all phases of contract development, award, administration, and close-out relating to a multi-discipline civil/construction project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for all project phases, including material take-offs and preparation of tender documents.
* Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, measurements, variations, and contractual matters.
* Work closely with the project team to ensure that all contractual obligations are satisfied, and clients are notified of any changes or discrepancies.
* Evaluate quotations obtained from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring quantities and specifications are in line with tender and project specifications.
* Conduct regular meetings with clients, site managers, project managers, and site engineers to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering.
* 1-3+ years of experience in Quantity surveying/Mechanical Engineering.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and track changes to the design and project work.
