About US: Over the years, Professor Paul Redmond's passion increasingly focused on the area of cancer awareness, screening, and prevention.
In line this concept, he originally started a Mole Screening services in Cork University Hospital.
With limited access to patients in a hospital setting, he established Rose Clinic along with our COO, Mairead Cheevers, to provide multidisciplinary care for skin health, with the primary focus of identifying changes in the skin that lead to cancer, as well as aiding in the diagnosis of skin cancer in its earlier stages.
Dr Shane Redmond joined our team in April of ****, and now acts as the clinic's Medical Director.
Having started from a single room, Rose Clinic moved to our own unit in Penrose Wharf in April of ****.
A month later, we expanded to the Beacon in Limerick.
Later that year, Rose Clinic began offering our services from UPMC Whitfield Hospital, and the UPMC Outreach Centre in Carlow.
Demand for our services grew, and in March of ****, Rose Clinic started an ongoing collaboration with Advanced Medical Services, which allows us to provide on-site Mole Checks in a corporate environment.
As of November ****, Rose Clinic has further expanded to Dundrum in Dublin and Galway.
