DevOps Engineer DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in cloud technologies and a strong focus on automation, operational excellence, and CI/CD best practices. This role involves supporting cloud-hosted, business-critical applications and contributing to a mature DevOps culture. Role Overview The successful candidate will: Support day-to-day operational activities including deployments, monitoring, reporting, and patching Collaborate with engineering teams to gather requirements and enhance DevOps workflows Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and test automation Ensure cloud-based solutions are resilient, available, and high-performing Develop infrastructure to enable scalable and efficient software deployment Produce and maintain documentation and operational procedures Contribute to organisational goals and participate in on-call rotation when required Drive continuous improvement, operational maturity, and knowledge sharing Requirements 2-3 years' experience in DevOps or Software Engineering Experience with AWS and/or GCP Knowledge of containerisation and cloud-native deployment Exposure to or experience with GenAI-enhanced DevOps workflows (e.g., Anthropic Claude, Amazon Bedrock, GitHub Copilot) Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, and build automation Scripting experience; Python and Terraform are advantageous Familiarity with cloud monitoring/alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, DataDog, AppDynamics) Solid knowledge of networking and OS fundamentals Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and ownership mindset Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and delivering against business priorities Experience with operational metrics and data-driven decision-making Adaptable and able to support organisational change Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
