Role Purpose This role involves managing the installation and commissioning of water treatment systems via the use of sub-contractors and Cantwell resources to ensure we meet project specifications and standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical or process water engineering along with excellent leadership skills and experience in site management.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead, oversee, and coordinate a multidisciplinary team including engineers, safety personnel, and M&E installation crews.
Client Liaison: Serve as the main contact for client meetings; prepare and present project coordination updates.
Safety & Compliance: Manage PSDP and PSCS responsibilities; ensure full compliance with HSQE standards and promote a strong safety culture.
Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed construction programmes, track progress, and update weekly/monthly timelines.
Procurement & Cost Management: Handle procurement of materials and equipment; monitor project costs and provide regular reports.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate site records (method statements, audits, signage, reports); produce technical and progress reports for internal and client use.
Commissioning & Handover: Plan and supervise commissioning, validation, and process testing; ensure timely completion of safety files and handover documentation.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open communication with ER and site RE teams; encourage collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
Environmental Compliance: Oversee environmental and ecological requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
