Key Role in Manufacturing Engineering
The successful candidate will provide manufacturing engineering support to customers and suppliers, plan and design new processes, manufacture prototypes, and validate products within specification.
Responsibilities:
* Provide manufacturing engineering support to customers and suppliers.
* Support the production team in planning and designing new processes.
* Manufacture prototypes and validate products within specification.
* Identify and implement improvements to equipment, processes, and methods.
* Drive improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve on-time delivery.
* Apply, maintain, and improve lean manufacturing procedures.
Requirements and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
* Lean Six Sigma certification or training (Green Belt or higher).
* Knowledge of ERP systems and implementation experience.
* 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
* Proven experience with process development, optimization, and improvement initiatives.
* Experience in prototype manufacturing, testing, and validation.
Technical Skills:
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and methods.
* Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for process or tooling design.
* Understanding of quality control methods and statistical analysis tools.
* Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
* Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements in manufacturing.
