Role Overview
NuSolas Energy is seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Coordinator to lead the end-to-end delivery of residential and commercial solar PV projects. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects concurrently, coordinate installation teams, ensure the highest standards of health and safety, and maintain clear, timely communication with customers and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, technical understanding of solar PV systems, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
● Plan, coordinate, and deliver solar PV projects from sale handover to final commissioning and close-out.
● Manage a high-volume project pipeline, handling 30+ active projects simultaneously while meeting quality, safety, and timeline targets.
● Lead and coordinate installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and compliant project execution.
● Conduct and/or oversee pre-installation and sales site surveys, assessing structural, electrical, and access requirements.
● Design and review solar PV system layouts, including panel placement, inverter selection, and system sizing, in line with Irish standards and best practice.
● Ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements in the warehouse and on all installation sites; conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings as required.
● Chair and conduct regular installation team meetings to review performance, schedules, quality issues, and continuous improvement actions.
● Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the project lifecycle, providing timely updates and managing expectations professionally.
● Maintain clear, accurate project documentation, including schedules, site reports, certifications coordination, and handover packs.
● Liaise with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
● Identify risks and issues early, implement mitigation plans, and resolve problems promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns.
● Support senior management with project reporting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives.

● Strong verbal communication and phone-handling skills, with a calm and professional manner.
● Proven ability to manage customers effectively, including handling concerns, changes, and challenging situations.
● Strong leadership and people-management skills, with experience coordinating multiple installation teams.
● Ability to perform under pressure and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
● High level of organisation, attention to detail, and time management.
● Sound decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
Technical Knowledge and Experience
● Demonstrable knowledge of solar PV systems, components, and installation practices.
● Experience in the construction industry is essential; prior experience in renewables or electrical projects is highly advantageous.
● Experience conducting site surveys and assessing construction and electrical constraints.
● Ability to design or review solar PV systems using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
● Basic understanding of electrical wiring, fuse boards, and grid connection requirements.
● Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
Qualifications (Desirable)
● Qualification or certification in Project Management, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or Renewable Energy.
● Health and Safety certification (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling; additional H&S training is an advantage).
● Full clean driving licence.
