Responsibilities
Manage telephone and email enquiries
Identify new contacts, develop sales leads and respond to sales opportunities to maximise revenue
Produce quotations and written confirmations to all clients
Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure future business
Maintain a thorough understanding of property facilities and processes
Ensure that all business leads and opportunities are followed up promptly, including enquiries and provisional bookings
Guarantee bookings and apply no‑show or late cancellation charges where appropriate
Deal with all clients in a professional and friendly manner
Treat guest complaints, queries and suggestions quickly and efficiently
Adhere to all Company policies including Customer Care, Health & Safety, Fire Safety and Cash Handling
Comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Licensing and Employment
Use onsite computer systems including Opera and tablepath
Liaise regularly with relevant managers in relation to reservations
Attend hotel meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels
Follow all business standards and reservation plans in line with company policies
Work as part of a team
