The Fundraising, Communications and Project Manager will develop and implement fundraising, communications and project management plans to support the 174 Trust to enable thousands of people to survive and thrive together in North Belfast and beyond.
The 174 Trust has been working in North Belfast for over 40 years, unlocking potential in thousands of people through our arts, community and peace building programmes.
With a new Director, a new strategy and the development of a new communications strategy, we are entering an exciting new stage as we seek to support thousands more people to survive and thrive in our local communities.
The new Fundraising, Communications and Project Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing a new fundraising strategy, building on our strong track record in generating income from supporters, philanthropists, trusts, foundations and government departments. We are particularly looking for an individual with a strong track record in successful grant management and donor development.
The successful candidate will lead on the implementation of our new communications strategy, brand and digital presence, enabling us to communicate our vision, values, strategy and Christian ethos in a way which inspires and engages local people, beneficiaries, funders and supporters.
The postholder will also provide project management capacity across the organisation, planning and overseeing the delivery of key organisational projects and capital improvements, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and in line with organisational priorities.
The role is a full-time one, for 35 hours per week. However, we would consider job share or part-time arrangements for the right candidate(s).

Essential Criteria
Commitment to the 174 Trust’s vision, values and Christian ethos.
Proven track record in successful fundraising within the charity or community sector, particularly in grant and trust fundraising.
Experience in successfully managing social media, digital communications, and/or PR campaigns.
Experience in developing and operating CRM databases.
Excellent interpersonal skills with significant experience in managing relationships with funders, donors, partners and colleagues
Excellent communications skills, with a proven track record in communicating campaigns in person to individuals, groups, churches and other Christian organisations
Excellent written skills with the ability to produce persuasive and evidence-based funding proposals for different audiences.
Knowledge of the Northern Ireland funding landscape, community and church sector.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritise multiple projects.
Demonstrable experience of planning and delivering projects from concept through to completion
Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors or partners within a project environment.
Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage several concurrent priorities.
Desirable Criteria
Experience in developing corporate partnerships or community fundraising initiatives.
A relevant qualification in fundraising, communications, or related field.
Experience managing capital or facilities improvement projects.
Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent experience).
