Operations Excellence Lead
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Operations Excellence Lead. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and embedding Lean principles across various functions.
In this position, you will be responsible for facilitating the implementation and maintenance of our daily management system (DMS) using digital LEAN tools. You will also establish integration and flow of metrics site-wide, maintain technical aspects of the Digital Integration Tool and Lean Management System, and leverage results of systems assessment with associated feedback processes.
You will lead the establishment of Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence (CCI&OE) systems within assigned areas, including components and their interactions. Additionally, you will facilitate deployment of system standards, execute process of systems governance and assessment, and capture benefits of CCI program.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, science, IT, or related field, along with 3–5 years' experience leading improvement projects. Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Black Belt, or similar level of Lean Coach/Practitioner Certification is highly desirable.
A strong background in Lean/CI methodologies, communication, problem-solving, and change management skills are essential. Experience with digital transformation initiatives is also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate implementation and maintenance of DMS utilizing digital LEAN tools
* Establish integration and flow of metrics cross-functionally site-wide
* Leverage results of systems assessment with associated feedback processes
* Lead establishment of CCI&OE systems within assigned areas
* Foster collaboration with central CCI&OE function to provide input into systems design
* Partner on engagements, serve as CCI Coach, and ensure robust Organizational Change Management and Monitoring Plans are in place
* Engage with sponsors to provide status updates and escalate issues as needed
* Ensure Lean principles and tools are integrated into project execution and solution design
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, science, IT, or related field
* 3–5 years' experience leading improvement projects
