About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned IT professional to join our team as a Senior IT Systems and Cloud Engineer. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is passionate about delivering high-quality IT solutions. You’ll play a key role in supporting our clients’ infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. This role requires experience in migrating infrastructure solutions from on-premises environments to the cloud, as this will be a key responsibility.
What you’ll Be delivering expert-level support across a wide range of IT systems, both remotely and on-site; Leading the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard ; Troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical issues efficiently and professionally; Maintaining strong communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery; Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying areas for improvement; Creating and maintaining technical documentation to support operational excellence; Participating in scheduled maintenance and on-call support when required.
What We’re Looking For
Extensive experience in a similar technical role.
A relevant third-level qualification or equivalent industry experience.
Strong hands-on implementation experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
Proficiency in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and SQL Server.
Hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware.
Solid understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, managed switches, and wireless technologies.
Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, endpoint protection, and web/spam filtering.
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions like Veeam, Azure Backup, or Datto.
A full, clean driving licence is essential.
