The Role Delivery ManagerThe Manager will engage with cross functional teams, acting as a strategic link with a sharp balance of planning, leadership and problem solving. The position will include maintaining and selling work in the management consulting space. Building, maintaining & developing client relationships is an essential requirement. The role is part of the User Experience (UE) business area, which has grown significantly over the last year. ResponsibilitiesManage multiple projects and teams, with significant stakeholder engagement and client management responsibilitiesThe projects managed are typically large, ranging from hundreds of thousands to multi-million pounds in valueE2E management from requirements gathering, solution design, process mapping, build, test, deployment, training and business readinessCandidates should have strategic oversight and understand interdependencies between various projects and programsOversee the successful execution of client projects and programsManage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client expectationsWork with client-facing teams to deliver solutions with tight timelinesDevelop and maintain project plans, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget adherenceMonitor and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies - understand project scope and manage changesImplement effective project management methodologies and best practicesEffectively manage the business transition, ensuring successful integrationExperience:Experience working with consulting projects or similar e.g. have been involved in the design, development and delivery of a systemCandidates should have strategic oversight and understand interdependencies between various projects and programsAbility to manage the commercials around building a pipeline of projects to maintain a team and be able to 'sell' the value of the work to the clientCandidates should be able to navigate complex environments, read situations quickly, and adjust their approach accordinglyTechnical skills such as Power BI or Jira are not strong requirements for delivery manager and senior manager levels but may be relevant at the consultant level depending on the projectExperience in change programs, policy optimization, system embedding, and adoption is potentially relevantThe role requires good commercial understanding, including cost, delivery, and time trade-offsAbility to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies and flexible to adjust to plans and resources as needed to accommodate evolving client requirementExcellent interpersonal skills combined with navigating stakeholder relationships At Nucleo, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.
