Summit Scaffolding, a successful and growing scaffolding company with offices in Dublin and Wexford, main depot in Wexford are now recruiting a Yard Hand/Teleporter Driver. The position is based in our Dublin Yard in Rathcoole. Teleporter Driveris a key figure of the team primarily responsible for the overall success of the efficient day to day running of the yard, loading and unloading lorries, operating a forklift and teleporter, safe organisation of materials, keeping the yard tidy. This position is for a Yard Hand/Teleporter Driverthe successful candidate may be asked to carry out general labour should it be required. A candidate for this position should possess excellent organisational skills, be driven and motivated to learn. Rewards Salary negotiable €27,000.00 - €38,223.30 per year Full time Excellent career prospects for the right individual Onsite Parking Required: Full driving License Must be 23 or over Operate a teleporter Responsibilities: To oversee the day to day running of the yard Building and maintaining strong working relationships with excellent communication skills Preparing gear lists for new and existing projects. Ensuring the health and safety of all yard users by keeping the yard neat and tidy Liaising with company managers to ensure that all necessary material requirements are met on all projects Preparation of materials prior to delivery to sites Loading materials on to the Lorry for delivery Qualified to operate a forklift and teleporter The Successful Candidate Would Possess: A good knowledge of scaffolding Qualified to operate a teleporter and forklift Solid knowledge of health and safety working within the industry including HSA regulation Strong focus on safety, client satisfaction and customer service. Be self-motivated and driven Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative Basic computer skills an advantage but not essential as all training will be given A standalone individual who will get the job done Be 23 or over with a full clean driving licence Job Type:Full-time Ability to commute/relocate
