Job Title: Lead / Senior Building Services Engineer (Data Centre Projects)
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Engineer to join our team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to work on data centre projects, utilizing their expertise in designing and managing building services systems.
Responsibilities
* Design, manage and coordinate the production of all building services systems, including HVAC, utilities, plumbing and fire protection for large-scale projects.
* Lead the design from concept through detailed design and construction administration.
* Act as a subject matter expert and further develop our design capability.
* Conduct onsite inspections and ensure that designs meet applicable codes and standards.
* Liaise and interact with the wider project team, including designers, clients and contractors.
Qualifications
* 10+ years' experience in the design of building services systems, preferably in a consultancy environment in the datacentre or similar industrial sectors.
* Competent in design software such as Fluid Flow or Pipe-Flo.
* Honours degree in building services or mechanical engineering.
* Experience of working in a collaborative BIM environment.
* Chartered engineer preferred.
