Senior Mechanical Engineer
The ideal candidate for this Senior Mechanical Engineer role will have a strong background in design and development of high-precision automated electro-mechanical systems, with experience in integration of electromechanical sub-assemblies into complex systems. They should also possess good product lifecycle management (PLM) knowledge and be able to deliver technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in the design and development of high-precision automated electro-mechanical systems
* Experience in integration of electromechanical sub-assemblies into complex systems
* Good product lifecycle management (PLM) knowledge
* Able to deliver technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability
* Knowledge of simulation packages (CFD, FEA etc.)
* Strong knowledge of GD&T and applicable standards
* Developing & translating system requirements into robust design solutions
* Practical experience of supplier or manufacturing fabrication processes
* Knowledge of material properties
* Providing technical support across the full engineering value chain
* Control systems engineering knowledge
* Verification and Validation experience
