Key Responsibilities
* Manage works packages for cable projects, including scoping, tendering, contract award, and construction management.
* Provide specialist civil engineering advice for underground cable projects.
* Identify HV cable route options and facilitate capital approval.
* Act as Lead Engineer, coordinating multi-disciplinary designs, interfacing with clients/stakeholders, and managing fees and programs.
* Mentor and support junior staff development.
* Promote and actively participate in safety management culture.

Experience and Qualifications
* A Level 8 Engineering Degree or equivalent.
* A minimum of 5 years' relevant civil engineering experience.
* A high level of specialist expertise and strong technical capability in civil engineering.
* A proven ability to manage significant projects or key aspects of projects.
* Strong commercial and project management skills.
* Strong safety awareness and communication skills.
* A valid driver's license for ROI and access to a car.
* Familiarity with FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
* Experience in performing PSDP role on projects.
* Chartered status or working towards it in a recognized professional institution.
