Site Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee a large-scale residential development near Cork City.

Main Responsibilities:
* Oversight of Health & Safety: Ensure collective ownership by all stakeholders, identify potential threats, and escalate serious issues to Senior Management.
* Control and Management of Plant: Ensure equipment is fit for purpose with necessary certification.
* Promotion of a Strong Safety Culture: Proactively resolve potential threats and address escalation needs.
* Selecting and Appointing Site Supervisors: Choose suitable candidates specific to the project requirements.
* Clear Communication: Share Project Execution Plans and updates with all stakeholders.
* Management of Subcontractors and Suppliers: Review their performance and ensure compliance with project standards.
* Review of Design Documents: Actively participate in design team meetings and contribute to project developments.
* Construction Team Management: Delegate responsibilities, coordinate works, and ensure timely completion.
* Short-Term Programmes and Progress Reporting: Develop weekly progress reports against target programmes.
* Compliance with Regulations: Ensure all works comply with Building Regulations, design specifications, and applicable standards.
* Direct Report Management: Lead performance management, development plans, and absence management for direct reports.
* Continuous Professional Development: Support ongoing professional growth for yourself and your team.
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree/Higher Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in large-scale residential construction.
* Excellent knowledge of current building regulations and certification standards.
