Our client, a global Alternative Asset Manager, are currently looking to hire a Senior Manager, within their finance team, to manage the accounting of a portfolio of private markets fund structures.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting processes across fund structures, including private equity and partnership accounting, waterfalls, management fee and interest calculations.
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements; coordinate audits with external auditors.
Support operational activities such as month-end close, expense analysis, reconciliations, and regulatory filings.
Partner with internal teams to address requests, investor inquiries, and cross-functional projects.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.
Key Requirements:
6+ years experience within Fund/Investment Control, Fund Accounting or Middle Office, specifically for alternative funds.
Experience working within Fund Administration or Investment Management is essential.
Exposure to Private Markets or Private Equity funds is highly desirable.
Experience and understanding of the oversight function including previous experience managing outsource service providers and fund administrators.
