Job Summary
This role involves completing assessments and evaluations, developing treatment plans, facilitating referrals, and providing therapeutic interventions to address patients' mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess patients' behavioral health needs, barriers to care, and effective therapeutic interventions to enhance their functioning.
* Demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities, the DSM-5 Classification system, multi-cultural issues, and counseling skills to empower patients.
* Complete medical records in a timely manner, adhering to program, departmental, regulatory, and network standards.
* Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure patient care needs are met and transitions of care are coordinated.
Requirements
* Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or a related clinical discipline.
* 2 years of experience in counseling or social work in a mental health-related field.
* Ability to use good judgment in emergency situations.
* Familiarity with differential diagnosis of common mental health disorders.
* Comprehensive understanding of behavioral health services and appropriate levels of care.
* LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker or LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor licensure required.
