Job Description:
Securitas Security Services Ireland are seeking experienced Security Personnel to work with a prestigious client. Hourly rate of pay for this position is €29.12 Ph*
The Physical Security Operations Center - Monitor (PSOC-Monitor) provides security oversight for multiple sites. Responsibilities include access control, escalations, loss prevention, incident response, and reporting safety and security incidents. The successful candidate will use strong customer service skills and the ability to facilitate effective communication internally and externally to perform this job. The PSOC-Monitor responds to email from various sites, triages issues, and directs them to the appropriate authority for resolution. The PSOC-Monitor performs administrative and miscellaneous duties as directed by management and serves as the shift supervisor for local and remote personnel, as required.
*Composite Hourly Pay rate €29.12 per hour (€26.25 basic per hour.) based on an annual attainable salary of €63,782.59 which includes all night allowances, Sunday allowances and public holiday payments based on a fully flexible contract divided by 42 hours per week by 52 weeks a year*
Essential Functions
* Supports 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7) security operations center with shift rotation position(s).
* Monitors physical security operations at designated sites which includes but is not limited to remote sites within a geographical area.
* Monitors cameras and access control systems covering data halls and entry/exit doors, and dispatches appropriate personnel, as necessary.
* Maintains accurate logs and records.
* Maintains documentation and follows standardized procedures to successfully complete unannounced audits.
* Identifies and escalates issues in accordance with documented policies and procedures.
* Briefs oncoming PSOC - Monitor on incidents taking place during his/her shift and incidents that are continuing into the oncoming shift.
* Identifies security shortfalls and communicates them using the organizational chain of command
* Prepares written and electronic logs and reports, as required, while entering information in appropriate computer systems.
* Collects complete information for detailed report and appropriate follow-up.
* Performs additional tasks assigned by the designated manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must have a reliable means of communication, such as cell phone.
* Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
* Must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
* Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
* Must have a high school diploma, secondary education equivalent, or GED.
* Must be able to obtain a valid Private Security Authority (PSA) Security License.
* Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Education/Experience
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience enough to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

* Must be able to meet and continue to meet requirements for specific skills, certifications or authorizations specified for the assigned accounts.
* May be required to work overtime without advance notice.
* Must successfully complete classroom and on the job training.
* Basic computer skills in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive) required.
* Able to communicate clearly and concisely, sharing information with a varied audience.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:

* Full-time 36 hours a week contract of employment with the ability to work up to 48 hours per week
