Our expanding projects team require an Intermediate level HVAC Project Engineer to support a growing project portfolio. The role will involve elements of HVAC design, pricing, procurement, technical report writing, site based project management, C&Q management and turnover management.The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating and project managing turnkey projects from design phase right through to installation and handover.Start Date: ImmediateLocation: CorkRole Type: Staff - Permanent.Salary: Competitive & negotiable depending on experienceDutiesDuties include but are not to limited to:Technical report writingHVAC DesignGeneration of HVAC P&ID’s, schematics, 2D layouts and 3D isometric drawingsGeneration of HVAC equipment schedulesManagement & co-ordination of subcontractorsManagement of all H&S requirements for each project.Attendance at daily project meetings, whiteboard meetingsDetailed site surveys of HVAC & Utility systemsRedlining/As-building of HVAC & Utility drawingsCommissioning & commissioning management.Generation of commissioning / C&Q protocolsPunchlist management & closeoutTroubleshootingGeneration of Project Turnover PacksManagement of equipment procurement and expediting.Ensure all design, installation and commissioning deliverables are met as per schedule.Education/ExperienceA minimum 5-years experience in project engineering in a regulated GMP facilities.Experience in working within a live manufacturing facility.Must be technically sound, with the ability to read and understand P&IDs, Schematics, layout drawings and technical specifications.Experienced in scheduling.Experienced in HVAC/Utilities/M&E systems/Process SystemsExperienced in vendor and contractor management.Ability to work to deadlines and deliver projects within limited time frames.Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related sciencesMust have a proven track record in project engineering in Pharma/Bio-Pharma/Biotech sector.Experience in GMP Commissioning & Qualification.Experience in working in regulated pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry is a bonusCompetency in Autodesk MEP or REVIT ,Microsoft word, PPT, excel, Project etcGood technical report writing skills.Good communication skillsA “hands-on” approach is essential.Full driving license, own transport essentialJob Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:Cork, CO.
