Building Energy Rating (BER) Framework Coordinator

Are you passionate about shaping the future of sustainable buildings? If so you will play a key role in delivering an excellent national Building Energy Rating (BER) framework. You will work across technical standards, software development, building energy methodologies, and operational teams to support the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).
As BER Framework Coordinator, you will:-
* Lead and coordinate cross‑functional projects to enhance the BER framework
* Work with teams developing building energy performance methodologies
* Support integration of methodologies into software systems such as DEAP and NEAP
* Collaborate with operations teams, auditors, assessors, and helpdesk functions
* Drive quality, efficiency, and process improvements across methodology, software, and operations
* Develop dashboards and reporting tools using Microsoft Power BI
* Manage research and analysis to support EPBD Minimum Energy Performance (MEPs)
What You will bring:
* Essential:
Degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, etc.
* 4+ years' experience in building performance assessment/modelling, sustainability or energy Consultancy, or project management
* Knowledge of DEAP/NEAP and building energy performance methodologies
* Strong project management skills
* Excellent communication skills and experience working with diverse stakeholders
Desirable:
Experience in software development, QA, UAT, or customer experience
* Understanding of building energy systems
* BER Assessor certification and a PMP certification
