Senior Power BI Developer – 6 Month Contract, Hybrid, Dublin
What's Involved
* Design and optimise Power BI semantic models for enterprise reporting and self-service analytics.
* Deliver high-performance dashboards and reports, with strong DAX and model tuning.
* Manage Power BI deployment, refresh, and service administration (workspaces, security, governance).
* Build clear, business-focused visualisations that translate data into insight.
* Develop paginated reports where required (Power BI Report Builder / SSRS).
* Integrate Power BI with Snowflake and the wider Power Platform (Power Automate / Power Apps).
* Act as a Power BI lead, mentoring others and driving adoption and best practice.
What's Needed
* Expert Power BI skills across Desktop and Service (including embedded).
* 7+ years BI experience, with strong Power BI delivery.
* Proven experience working with
Snowflake
in a production BI environment.
* Strong semantic modelling, DAX, and performance optimisation skills.
* Experience in cloud data platforms (Azure strongly preferred).
* Confident communicator who can work with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
* Proactive, detail-focused, and comfortable owning solutions end-to-end.
