Whitewater Group is headquartered in Naas, Co. Kildare. We also operate from European bases in Spain, Sweden, Finland and UK, with plans for further offices to open in Italy, Denmark and Germany. The Group is experiencing significant growth due to its focus on offsite construction methods (OSM) of delivering turnkey projects, meaning onsite construction time is kept to a minimum.
Role Description
The OSM Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of off-site manufacturing of modular building and skid production to support all projects.
This role ensures that off-site manufacturing processes align with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
Project Management: Oversee and coordinate all Group OSM activities across the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning through fabrication, assembly, transportation, and on-site installation. Ensure delivery aligns with agreed schedules and budgets.
Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control processes throughout fabrication and assembly. Lead inspections and testing to verify all components meet specified standards and performance requirements.
Plant & Logistics Management: Manage the effective operation of the OSM facility, including plant, tools, and equipment. Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and completed modules to site.
Risk Management: Proactively identify risks within the OSM process and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues in design, fabrication, and logistics.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all OSM activities adhere to applicable safety regulations and industry standards. Champion a strong safety culture across teams and all project phases.
Design Coordination: Work closely with design and engineering teams to integrate OSM solutions into project delivery, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client specifications.
Required Qualifications And Experience
* Qualification or background in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management within a mechanical contracting environment
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in construction with a Mechanical Contractor, including at least 5 years in a management role
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Highly developed organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Strong numerical ability with clear, concise report-writing skills
* Commercially aware with the ability to develop practical, cost-effective solutions
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
