Alliance Medical is recruiting for a Radiography Unit Manager/RSM to oversee our site in Kerry. This role involves leading and guiding the team, providing clinical, governance, and management experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of clinical and non-clinical staff.
Duties include:
1. Prioritising the safety of patients and staff.
2. Managing an engaged and motivated team, including induction, performance management, training, and development.
3. Providing high-quality patient care and service.
4. Managing department workload, staff, and patient care.
5. Handling rostering, training, HR issues, and staff absenteeism.
6. Contributing to staff recruitment and performance reviews.
7. Ensuring staff roles and responsibilities are clear and well-trained.
8. Organising staff meetings, setting objectives, and developing staff.
9. Participating in accreditation and audit processes.
10. Following Radiation and MRI safety guidelines.
11. Managing budgets, targets, and costs.
12. Collaborating with Business Development and contributing to business growth.
13. Maintaining health and safety standards.
14. Performing other duties as workload demands.
15. Acting as line manager for all staff within the unit.

Role Requirements:
* Active CORU registration.
* Leadership ability.
* Recognised postgraduate qualification in MRI or equivalent experience.
* At least 6 years of MRI experience in a large hospital setting.

* Experience working with a team of radiographers.
* Bachelor of Science in Radiography or equivalent.
