Job Overview
The IT Business Analyst will provide ICT business process support across designated directorates and units.
The role involves assessing existing procedures, optimising IT tools, and driving efficiency improvements aligned with ICT strategic plans.
The successful candidate will contribute to infrastructure planning, workflow optimization, and the development of communication and collaboration frameworks that support the organisation's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage ICT project development and operational activities
Deliver onsite training and support user acceptance processes
Oversee document management and collaboration platforms
Plan, design, and implement business workflows
Evaluate emerging technologies for organisational suitability
Coordinate with third-party providers to ensure optimal service delivery
Monitor, review, and update IT procedures to ensure compliance

Experience in Further or Higher Education sector systems
Software development knowledge or background
Requirements
SharePoint Online Administration:
Site management, permissions, document libraries, access issue resolution
M365 Governance & Integration:
Azure AD permissions, connectors, compliance controls
Power Automate Development:
Design and troubleshooting of cloud-based workflows
Dataverse & Power Platform:
Data structures, security roles, environment management
Dynamics 365 CRM Configuration:
Customisation of entities, forms, views, and deployment support
Candidate Profile
Degree in Information Systems, IT, or equivalent
Minimum
6 years' experience
as a Business Analyst
Experience within a
Public Service environment
Strong understanding of the full BA lifecycle (requirements gathering to UAT)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong facilitation, organisation, and problem-solving skills
Experience working with developers and QA teams
Demonstrated risk management and issue resolution capabilities
