The role of Business Development Manager – Distribution is to drive revenue growth, strengthen commercial footprint and accelerate expansion through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver strong commercial performance in assigned distribution markets through sales growth, margin improvement and increased market share.
2. Develop multi-year distributor growth plans with clear volume, pricing and profitability targets by market.
3. Lead quarterly business reviews with partners to track sales performance, marketing execution, inventory management and working capital discipline.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years' experience in international business development or senior commercial roles within manufacturing or electronics. They should possess strong financial acumen including pricing strategy, forecasting and P&L analysis. Confident negotiators who can influence stakeholders across diverse cultural markets are preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required while an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to present information effectively both verbally and in writing are essential for success in this position.
