Due to their continued expansion they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer.Role and Responsibilities:This is a Site based roleThe Mechanical Engineering lead on site and primary point of contact for both the Main Contractor and SubcontractorsDay to day Engineering management of scope, programme and resourcesDevelop junior Engineer's in their role when neededOversee Submittal and Procurement process & LOG'sOn site coordination with Main Contractor and other trades including attending meetings as necessaryAttendance at weekly meetings with Design Team / Main ContractorDevelop positive relationship with all project stakeholdersAssisting Project Manager in report on project statusDay to day management of subcontractors on siteImplement policies and standards particularly in relation to Health & Safety and Quality I&TPCommissioning and Control strategy for the projectCommissioning Lead for the ProjectExcellent communication skillsAssisting in Generation and Uploading of weekly progress reports with Project Managerdeal CandidateA relevant 3rd level qualification7+ years' experience in a similar roleBe results driven with excellent communication skillsExperience in technical submittalsExperience in commissioning and handover proceduresA proven strong work ethicProven experience in successful projectsExcellent communicatorWork on own initiative and with teamComputer literate and familiar with MS office, or projectProSource Group is a specialist Irish recruitment company whose primary focus is recruiting within the Construction & Civil Engineering industries throughout Ireland and Europe.
