Our clients, a large multinational based in Dublin 22, are looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst who will be responsible for handling the business analysis efforts across a programme of multiple interdependent IT projects.
The firm is embarking on an exciting digital journey, and this role will play a vital part in that process.
The Role:
Collaborate and conduct workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business requirements for new projects and initiatives.
Use various techniques such as business process modelling, use case analysis, and user story mapping to capture and document requirements effectively.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project sponsors.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals.
Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, requirements status, and issues to stakeholders.
Work closely with solution architects and project teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.
Review and validate proposed solutions to ensure that they meet business needs and align with architectural guidelines and standards.
Establish and maintain a requirements management framework, including tools, templates, and processes for documenting, tracking, and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
The Person:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business or a related field.
Min.5 years as a Business Analyst, with a track record of successfully delivering business requirements for complex projects and initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex business processes, systems, and data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with project stakeholders.
Proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation techniques, such as interviews, workshops, use cases, and user stories.
Experience with business process modelling tools (e.g. JIRA).
Experience with Salesforce an advantage.
Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
