Locum Relief Support Worker (Care Assistant), South Tipperary (Clonmel, Cashel, Cahir, Tipperary Town, Carrick-on-Suir)
Exciting new opportunity for Students studying Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, or completing another relevant third level healthcare qualification.
For a limited time only, we are offering flexible Locum Relief Support Worker contracts to students who have completed the 1st year of their qualification in a relevant field (Health/Social Care, or similar). With a Locum Relief Support Worker contract, you would be able to work and gain valuable experience, while having the flexibility to continue to attend college and complete your qualification.

The role of a Support Worker
Support Workers provide a key‑working caring role for a group of People Supported by the Services. They are responsible for all aspects of personal care required during the day. This includes meals, personal hygiene and other related aspects of physical well‑being. Secondly, a major focus of the Support Worker role is to assist and support People Supported by the Services with the development of their Individual Plans and achievement of associated outcomes. In addition, a critical component of this role is to support People Supported by the Services in community participation and integration.
