Due to increased demand from our customers, Frank Keane Volkswagen is looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor for an immediate start at our Sandyford dealership. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role is essential to the smooth operation of our Aftersales Department, as we aim for a 5-Star Service experience for our customers.
Job Summary:
As a Service Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service and manage the servicing and maintenance needs of our customers. You will act as a liaison between customers and the service department to ensure efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers, understand their service needs, and provide recommendations based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition.
2. Service Recommendations: Communicate vehicle issues and service suggestions, including repairs and preventive maintenance.
3. Service Scheduling: Schedule appointments and manage loan vehicles as needed.
4. Service Estimates: Provide transparent cost estimates for services and repairs.
5. Vehicle Inspection: Conduct inspections, document conditions, and prioritize repairs.
6. Communication: Keep customers informed about service progress and delays.
7. Parts Ordering: Order parts to ensure timely repairs.
8. Quality Assurance: Ensure work meets Volkswagen standards.
9. Billing and Invoicing: Prepare invoices, handle payments, and warranty claims.
10. Customer Satisfaction: Address concerns professionally to ensure high satisfaction.
11. Documentation: Maintain accurate service records.
12. Sales Opportunities: Identify upsell opportunities for packages, warranties, and accessories.
Qualifications:
* Experience as a Service Advisor is desirable.
* Knowledge of CDK / Keyloop (Kerridge) systems is advantageous.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with service management software.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
* Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
* Valid driver’s license required.
